Formed in late 2001 Apogee started out playing covers and playing around with different styles of music, mainly for fun more than anything else! Originally a four piece band we played as a three piece with no bassist for a while after our original bassist left the band. Soon enough however our rhythm guitarist/singer bacame our bassist/singer and we continued as a three piece.
We began gigging a good 2 years after first forming, simply because it took us this long to find our own style
