Formed in early 2005 Battlewitch combine influences of older 80/90s thrash metal and punk rock with the modern metal scene. Some of our music is distinctly 'throw back' but we're not trying to recreate anything - a lot of what we do is very modern influenced. Our second EP, Fyredroyde, has sold copies in over 10 countries, received a huge number of rave reviews, had a number of radio plays and has culminated in us being featured in Total Guitar magazine in the New Year and being booked to tour Ireland in May 2007.
Influences: Metallica, Maiden, Sabbath, Rush, Megadeth, Testament, Trivium, Bullet etc... you get the idea!
