Artisian
Artisian is a London based mid to fast paced black/death/grind band originally set up in 2004 by Iain Miro. The complete line up came after Frank-o (drums) and Ash (Bass) joined in early 2006.
Influenced by a very cold and harsh sound, Artisian manage to carefully fuse old school black metal with a slash of death, grind and thrash: Put Simply, Artisian can be summed up in one word - 'EXTREME METAL'.
The Debut album 'Lament for the Eternal Frost', was released at Halloween in 2005, on limited release with Grindethic Records and then following subsequent signing to Copro, released on full worldwide 2006 release (currently available from all good record stores & online) . Artisian have already finished recording the follow up release 'Na Beiste Bho'n Talamh' (The beast out of the earth) due for release February 2007. Ascension
Ascension were formed in 2004 with a view to expressing the kind of songs we wanted to write, back to basics, guitar-driven power metal. The band has always been a 5 piece outfit, and has gone through a number of lineup changes in the last few years, first losing a vocalist, drummer, guitarist and then bassist. Currently, Stuart Docherty, is the only original member of Ascension when they were first formed, followed by Ricki who joined the band when the previous vocalist left. the band found a new lease on life and began gigging again.
it was only when drummer Wayne Scorgie left the band, we took drummer Theo robertson under our wing, and taught him the ways of Power Metal! with this newly re-energised sound the band quickly built up a big following in the small city of Aberdeen, gigging non stop for around 8 months! until we were met with a huge setback.
Guitarist Gregor Docherty ( Brother of stuart ) Decided to part ways with the band, and being a very talented musician, Ascension needed to be thought about very quickly, after the decision to carry on, we originally planned not to replace gregor with another guitarist, but with a keyboard player instead, thus enters Fraser Edwards.
upon discovering that fraser was actually an extremely competent, and skilled guitarist, he was quickly re-assigned as the new ascension guitarist! and we were well on our way to writing a lot more new exciting material, with frasers input spawning our first new song, Blackthorne! ( Moongate EP 2008 )
With fraser up to speed on most of the bands song list, A fresh recording of the bands most popular song, Fortress, a new single, Blackthorne, from the forthcoming 6 track EP " The Moongate", and a terrific new bass player, David wood, joining the band recently, Ascension are well and truly back with a vengence! and finally re-graced the stage with their new lineup on the 18th may 2008 at the Tunnels, Aberdeen, playing a terrific set! with their first Glasgow date set, and the possibility of playing the scottish music festival Feugh Fest in the fall, Ascension are definatly on the rise ( excuse the pun ) and no matter where you are in the world, You will be hearing of Ascension, very soon!

Battlewitch
Formed in early 2005 Battlewitch combine influences of older 80/90s thrash metal and punk rock with the modern metal scene. Some of our music is distinctly 'throw back' but we're not trying to recreate anything - a lot of what we do is very modern influenced. Our second EP, Fyredroyde, has sold copies in over 10 countries, received a huge number of rave reviews, had a number of radio plays and has culminated in us being featured in Total Guitar magazine in the New Year and being booked to tour Ireland in May 2007.

Bill Snide
Formed in June 2006 Bill Snide immediately set upon writing catchy metal songs that were easily accessible to a wide audience. Our aim is not to shock crowds with brutality or bore with songs that go nowhere, instead we play a hybrid of groove metal and breakdown-laden metalcore, which we feel incorporates the best aspects of modern metal.
So far all of the gigs we have played have been a great success, thanks partly to our amazing friends and family (you guys and gals rule so badly!) and we have been lucky enough to already have played with some awesome signed bands like Ephel Duath, Tangaroa, Zero Cipher, As Silence Falls, Evile and Nekkrosis, as well as some quality local bands such as Adremelech, Sacred Mother Tongue, Neoplasia and Legion of Fury. We are planning to record our 1st demo early next year then set upon playing gigs as far and wide as possible, spreading the Snidage to unsuspecting audiences everywhere!

Bless The Child are a Dark, aggressive Metal Band with pure grit and energy coming to the stage with Confidence and Enthusiasm providing a tight and energetic performance. BTC have supported bands such as Girlschool, Isolation, Adrenaline plus other big and upcoming bands and have played numerous venues in their local area including venues in Birmingham such as Birmingham Barfly, Bar Academy, Custard factory, Medicine bar, Irish Centre and the Actress and Bishop. Blindsight
Formed in Ilkeston in Early 2004, Blindsight started very early life playing mellower songs with almost pop punk-esque riffs. The members soon realised heavy metal was thier true calling and the original members Grant, Dev, James and Bob, joined by then drummer Shaun, played various gigs in late 2004/early 2005 with the likes of Not So pretty and Patchwork Grace. Shaun then parted ways and the band called upon the talents of Tom Peck to play the skins. In a metal scene overrun by copycats and flavors-of-the-month, very few bands ever manage (or even try) to stray from their influences as they make short careers out of referencing the ones that came before them. Bloodstained Memory, formed in 2006 isn't one of these bands. COERCE
We have always approached songwriting with the intent to impress everyone with the patience to listen. We like to define our sound as inventive and aggressive, yet melodic and more importantly listenable rock/metal. What makes us stand out from other current rock acts is our ability to stay true to our desired sound. Through passing 'scenes', we have remained focused on developing our own sound and keeping the music interesting, memorable and hopefully timeless.
What is consistent through our music is a feeling of tension and darkness followed by an almost epic climax filled with emotion to try and captivate an audience. Many influences can be heard in our music from the progressive rock of Led Zeppelin and King Crimson to modern day rock/metal acts like Tool and Deftones. These styles met as a backbone in developing and growing as a band, keeping a constant sound for Coerce.
The band at present has a large collection of songs, all written with consummate thought, musically and lyrically, to keep not only the listener, but us as well interested in creating new rock music. The band has always been fusing interesting musicianship and heartfelt lyrics to address issues that other bands ignore.
The future of Coerce will see us less concerned with introspection and more about getting the story across to others that we have the talent and the potential to become something original, with heavy music that can inspire as well as rock.

Hey, we’re Contrast, a young unsigned 5 piece rock/metal band from Weston-Super-Mare, England. Our members range from ages 14-16. We have been around since the summer of 2003, and since have written many songs and recorded some of them. Our singer, Tom only joined the band in September 2004 but learned our songs immediately and he has helped the band take a giant step forward. Our members are:

We mainly play rock/metal but we like to add other styles of music into our songs e.g funk, prog, arabic, thrash, punk and more. We kind of sound like a cross between Iron Maiden and Rush with a bit of punk/emo.
We have already started doing gigs around Weston-Super-Mare, Nailsea and Bristol and we’re looking to play anywhere, anytime, we just wanna get known.
We have a 3 track demo CD out and 2 other tracks recorded. We should have a full length album by Autumn 2005.

Danny has been drums for 2 years. He is an insane drummer and, before he bought his double bass pedal, could double bass with just one pedal. He is an insane drummer and hasnt stopped improving his skill since he begun.

Deficit
Thanks for checking us out. To tell you a little about the band, we formed in 2003. We started out when Eric (vocals/guitar) and Josh (lead guitar) started playing in the forth grade. We started playing more and more and then in sixth grade we started playing Metallica covers of Enter Sandman at our school in battle of the bands. After we stated playing Metallica songs Josh's brother Dave wanted to join in the fun and play as well. So he got a drum set and started to learn how to play the Metallica covers with us. After a year of playing cover songs and becoming comfortable with each other, we started writing our own music.
In early 2003 after completing our first song, entitled Monastery Barricade, we then met up with our first bassist, Rosario Spaccaferro. We now had a full band together and things were going well. We started writing as many songs as we could and practiced as much as possible. In early 2003, we won a first place prize of $1000 in our first ever battle of the bands against 42 other bands. After we had about three or four songs written and completed we decided to go to the studio and record our very first three song demo.
After we released the demo we started playing a lot of shows and trying to get our music out there as much as we could. Then mid 2004 Rosario had to leave the band to go to college. So now we were without a bassist for the first time since we started. We went on for about a year trying to still play shows and look for new a bassist's. We stopped playing shows for a while because of school and other activities and so the band kind of took a few month break from everything.
After a few months had passed and we had barely even talked to each other we decided that it was time to get this thing going again. So we started to practice again and we made up about 5 or 6 more songs. Then we started booking shows again and playing more than we ever had. It was really starting to be ok not having a bassist.
Then one of our friends Mark Harrison decided that he would try out for the position. He was Amazing. He just blew us out of the water with his talent. After one practice with him we new we had a new bassist. He brought a new life to the band and after he joined we were ready for some big shows.
A few weeks after Mark joined we played at the Clearwater Theater in West Dundee, IL. and it was AWESOME!!! We brought in over fifty people and stole the whole night. So now we have many shows coming up, new material always on the way, and a full band again. We are planning to get a new demo out by next summer ('06) and to have a ton of shows in the mean time. We look forward to meeting a ton of new fans and bands.

Flesh for the Beast
In late 2004, Flesh for the Beast was formed by Steve Giles and John Rios (vocalist from now defunct Sadomasochism) in Grand Rapids MI.
In the Spring of 2005, they were joined by former Sadomasochism Guitarist Jason Salmer and Drummer Jason Kandea. Their debut album, Devouring, was completed in early July, with Rios and Giles sharing the producing credits.
2006 brought on new challenges when original bassist Azrachel left the band, and was replaced by Mark Kinley. Founding guitarist Steve Giles was soon to follow, for personal reasons, in the later half of the year. And is now replaced by Ed Ryan also formally of Sadomasochism and the recently split Summon.
Flesh for the Beast has released their latest cd entitled Scavengers of the Damned with John Rios and Jason Salmer sharing producing credits. Scavengers was released Nov. of 2007.

The band’s initial vision was to create something different in the well explored genre of metal. Disagreeing with the view that Nu-metal has killed the genre F.A.T.E have set about proving that there's plenty more to be explored. Taking influences from an eclectic range of music the band quickly found their own original sound. In February 2004 F.A.T.E teamed up with producer/live engineer Neak (FFAF, Hondo Maclean, Sikth, Vero) to record their debut E.P. ’Fighting The Urge’. The E.P. captured the bands original sound and started catching the attention of promoters and audiences in the local scene. Having developed their style further F.A.T.E completed their second E.P. ’From Almost The End’ in November 2004. It was later decided that ’From Almost The End’ was to become the band name after
searching for a better representation of their music. This E.P has seen the band branch out to a wider audience throughout Essex, London and neighbouring counties. The E.P. has continued to impress audiences and has helped the band to build a larger following around the southeast of the country.

GOTHMINISTER was formed by Bjorn Alexander Brem in 1999. In 2000 joined the keyboardplayer Halfface, followed by the guitarplayer Machine and Dementia aka the photographer Sandra Jensen (who developed the art direction of the band). GOTHMINISTER released the debutalbum “Gothic Electronic Anthems” in 2003 and got fantastic critics in both German and international press, and Metal Hammer UK headlines read “the undead are reborn”. GOTHMINISTER have had several successful clubsingles, and on top the hit “Angel” which entered the top 10 Deutche Alternative Charts.
GOTHMINISTER played all the big German Festivals like WGT, Dark Storm Festival, two years in a row invited to the M`Era Luna Festival, and performing for over 10.000 people at the Schattenreich Festival at ARENA in Overhausen together with bands like Oomph! , In Extremo and Within Temptation. GOTHMINISTER had great success and the debutalbum was re-released by Drakkar Entertainment GmbH/BMG in November 2003. Guerrilla Monsoon
Guerrilla Monsoon are a heavy metal outfit hailing from the areas of Cardiff and Bridgend. Spouting traditional grooves fused with new progressive metal themes, the band mixes up an aggressive, high octane, and energetic live show.
The band originally formed in 2005 and over the following months the group surpassed their own expectations, writing songs fueled with unique melancholy yet aggressive guitar leads, over colourful and poly-rhythmic patterns with political and social issues addressed through their lyrics. Their aspiration to further push the band was culminated with the introduction of their ideal frontman, Gerwyn Jones, in December of 2006.
Within a month of his arrival, a four-track debut EP was released, which was highly praised in local newspapers and by fans alike.Our initial press for the E.P was 1000 but due to selling out within the first two weeks of the release we pressed another 2000 copys, selling out just recently. The track “Driven by Hatred” was later reviewed in Terrorizer magazines’ unsigned addition no.45 as:
“ This Welsh Band show exactly what odious pop-rockers LostProphets could be if they grew some guts. And stopped making music for kids. And stopped wearing blue leggings and calling them ‘jeans’.”
The song “Driven by Hatred” was included as track 19 on the accompaniment compilation CD.

Hollow are a six piece from Bucks unleashing their fury in 2007!
Starting as a 4 piece back in 2003 after a few musical differences the band split and re-formed in 2005 eventually adding a second guitarist, Mark Bunce.
After going through a selection of bass players the band found Duncan Lee (of Truth Will Out.) Hollow later added J-Me Osman (also of Truth Will Out) to create a crushing blend of dual vocals. With the new line up in place. Hollow have begun to write a mature, interesting and complex selection of songs drawing influence from bands such as Killswitch Engage, Sikth, Johnny Truant, 36 Crazy Fists, Dillinger Escape Plan, Lamb of God and INFlames.

Idiom
Idiom are a Manchester-based band that strive to be as creative and imaginative as possible when it comes to writing music. Formed in the summer of 2005, the band started out as a college project but it didn't take long for it to flourish into something much greater.
Soon after leaving college, Seb and Ollie (Drums & Guitars) began looking for the perfect line-up to help create the material they had, but couldn't express. They soon found a fantastic bassist by the name of Will. Although only 15 at the time, he had the ability of someone twice his age. And in the past year, he's progressed even further, not only as a bassist, but as a musician.
Next up, the trio realised that they needed a keyboardist to really gain that true progressive feel. After a few months of scouring the land (locally), a keyboardist contacted them about a position in the band. Immediately after his audition, Brandon was accepted as a full-time member of Idiom.
Now the the instrumental section of the band was complete, they need one last member to complete the line-up. A vocalist. After a LOT of hunting and scouring the land even moreso than before, they were contacted by Ben (Vocals). After some auditioning and a gig, we realised that he was the guy for us.
Idiom continue to write as much music as they can while being as original as possible. Their first EP entitled "Idiom" will be completed some time in early 2007.

Jack Glass is a 4 piece heavy metal band from Inverclyde/Scotland, influenced by bands such as: Trouble, Down, Clutch, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, Cathedral, C.O.C, Black Sabbath & Black Label Society. Fortunately we have people within the band or tied closely to the band that really help make this possible. We are always looking to send our demo out for reviews or to get gigs and to generally get our name out there. Even the DOWNLOAD festival organizers received our 7 track demo and we’ve signed up to many websites that promote unsigned bands, like Music Mog, XFM Uploaded, Venues & Bands, Project Whitenoise, Slicepie, Bebo, Youtube, Revolution Station, Myspace as well as having our own official website www.jackglass.co.uk.
We give our all on stage and always look to improve our performances. Audiences to date have responded incredibly well after seeing/hearing Jack Glass live and we’ve included some of the many kind & positive comments/reviews we’ve had from various live shows & from people who have heard our demo. Our lyrics tackle many of today’s controversial issues, such as religion, murder, cults, life/death and we do not hold back on our views lyrically. Our message is that we should think for ourselves & to live in relative peace.
The band now feels in a strong position and wants too move forward; we’re constantly building a good following, especially after we have played live and our next step is too search for a record company that is willing to give Jack Glass a chance. They all seemed to get along and have the same vision, so they tried to capture The essence of how they felt in their music, that they played. Krawl has played many shows throughout the last 3 years. They are a very honest, straight up band, which makes friends and fans, where Ever they go. They aspire to create music that you can feel and have the energy to back it up. Last Promise
Last Promsie were formed in the summer of 2005. The band started out with only 2 members, Jakey (drums) and Tony (guitar). They then desided to add to the band and their good friend Dookie (guitar) came to mind. Dookie agreed to join the band and with him onboard the singer of his previous band Thorn joined aswell. Last Promise have finally found a Bass Guitarist, Luke Davis a friend of Dookie has stepped up to the challenge and is undergoing intense training for the job.
