Formed in 2004, all four members hail from Northen Ireland and draw on a wide range of musical interests to produce the original albapatera style. Influences include The Beatles, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Stone Roses to name but a few.
albapateras have been described as an edgy alternative/indie rock band based around an aggressive acoustic rhythm backed up by hard hitting beats and bass driven thick groves, all driven home by some truely atmospheric leads.
